Private Robert Watson
Robert Watson was the son of William and Esther Watson of Convoy, Co. Donegal. He and two of his brothers, Samuel, and William, enlisted in the 11th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.
He and his brothers fought at the Somme, and both Samuel and William lost their lives on the opening day. Robert Watson continued to serve until the war ended but was wounded on three occasions in three different battles: Thiepval Wood, Cambrai, and Ypres.
He was a member of Raphoe LOL No. 1921 and Thiepval Memorial LOL No. 1005.
Private Joseph Atcheson Crockett
Joseph Atcheson Crockett was the son of Robinson and Mary Crockett of Elaghbeg, Burnfoot, Co. Donegal. He was a member of LOL No. 1927, Burt Faith Defenders. He enlisted in Londonderry and served with the 109th Company, Machine Gun Corps.
He was killed in action on 1 July 1916 aged 22.
Private Robert Dinsmore
Robert Dinsmore was the son of John & Letitia Dinsmore of Gortcormican, Burnfoot, Co. Donegal. He was a member of LOL No. 1927, Burt Faith Defenders. He served with the 9th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and was killed in action on 1 July 1916 aged 23.
Private John Keys
John Keys was from Birdstown, Burnfoot in Co. Donegal. He was a member of LOL No. 1927, Burt Faith Defenders. He served with 11th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and was killed in action on 1 July 1916.
