Remembrance 2020: Family tragedy at the Somme

Many brothers joined, served and in some cases died side by side. Some also died together. For example, on 1 July 1916 three brothers from Comber; James, John and Samuel Donaldson, were killed as the 13th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles advanced. They were all members of Comber Old Standard LOL No. 567.
