As part of Orange Heritage Week, the Orange Standard and Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland are launching a photography competition to select the best images from amateur photographers which capture the essence of Orange Heritage.


The subject matter may include a range of Orange related themes, including parades, halls, events, bands, members, etc.

 


To enter, simply email your photo/s to orangestandard@goli.org.uk along with your full name, email address and contact number. Remember to clearly state it is a competition entry.

 

Your file should be in JPG or PNG format and should not exceed 5MB.  


The competition is open for submissions from 21st August 2024 and entries close at midnight on Ulster Day – Saturday 28th September 2024.


Prizes will be awarded, with 1st place receiving a £100 Amazon Voucher, 2nd place a £50 Amazon Voucher and 3rd place a £25 Amazon Voucher.


Entrants may submit a maximum of three images for judging.

 

 


Terms & Conditions
 

  • All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.

  • Photos including images of young people under the age of 18 must only be submitted with the express permission of the child’s parent/guardian.

 

  • The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.

 

  • Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries submitted via any other means will be excluded.

 

  • Entries will be judged by the GOLI. All decisions are final. GOLI reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate.

 

  • By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the GOLI for marketing/commercial purposes.

 

  • No employee of GOLI or family member may submit an entry.

 

  • Submissions will not be accepted after the notified closing date.
